The present

 

God's word, which we have in the Old and New Testament, is an incomparable, particular treasure. If one hears it or reads, it works first once cleans, as I had experienced it also already at the beginning. Then, it becomes for one, the God obeys, lively, and to mental food. Then it is of course also a source of inexhaustible, divine wisdom. I myself was allowed to already with-experience many times all this and experience until today, therefore is my enthusiasm for this unique word.
We have received it, so that the living God can save us thereby in every respect and give a perspective for the future. This earth together with its creatures, as well as the whole universe is actually a work full of miracles.

 

Jesus said: My Father works still, and I work.. God works and acts also up to now, and from us Christians only expects he, only to work to him under the hand, where it is necessary and is possible for us. He expects no more from his farmhands and no less. In this sense, I had started my Bible-work at that time, independently from any church or theology. Because the Hungarian Bible texts are scandalously inaccurate by which God will never be able to come after my conviction to his original goal. Namely that the people properly recognize him. I would like to name only an example, the case with the justice (or righteousness):

 

In the Hungarian, the word Justice will construct from the word Truth and Just is called approximately Truthful. However mostly not even Truthfulness stands there where Justice stands in the original texts but mostly simply only Truth (e.g., The true will live from beliefs. [instead of at least truthful] Galatians 3:11). The reader should understand it just properly. However, it is not so obvious in many cases (e.g., Truth, and only truth, you shall follow, that you may live... [instead of to ask for the following of the justice or righteousness, as in the original] Deuteronomy 16:20).
Attaining of the justice through the belief at the just belongs to the most important elements of the divine rescue, however, the biblical teachings about it is on grounds of the Hungarian Bible-texts hardly comprehensible and conceivable (e.g., Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for truth. [instead of justice] Romans 4:3. The multiple emphasis of the necessity of the justice in the whole Bible remains almost completely ineffective and is not clear their importance. Strangely only that with them, which are responsible for the publication of this Bible, it also so all right is. However the consequences always are tragic!
This is only one of the most important cases under the most grave, traditional false translations. If one more exactly investigates there, however, still finds many, more or less meaning or irritating inaccuracies which it is essential to correct if one liked to take seriously the word of God.
The today's Bible translations then have a dry and tasteless style as well, therefore a lot of people rather use the oldest, the last time more than hundred years ago revised Bible. It still has a tasteful language, however its grammar and wording is much to antiquated, and it actually represents the origin of the mentioned imprecisions.
Also the fact contributes to this circumstance of the neglected biblical scholarship of course that Hungary was no more free country in the last 500 years. It was occupied constantly, first from the Muslim Turks, after it from the Austrian (strictly Catholic) Habsburgs, and after a short pause between the two world wars finally from the communist Soviet Union.

In search of a functioning mode to be able to manage, finally, my Bible translation work I decided to launch this present web site. One can achieve several goals with it simultaneously, and God also through it work effectively under the hand:

The present-day technical possibilities are used in order to present the words of God, thematically sorted and in an easily accessible form. It is useful for Christians, and it makes possible, God's statements also people approaches to bring, which a Bible otherwise probably never would take into its hand. And this in all languages of the world, and throughout the world attainable.

I can reach the Christianity's basis through it and can induce co-Christians to it to support my whole activity, which I cannot manage alone.

It can be made a platform independent from churches and theologies where fundamental and less fundamental biblical truths can be represented and can be discussed freely. Useful and necessary also for interested non-Christians. This also in all possible languages, for which one can get translation-help.

 

For the project-part of the background images, one first needs nice pictures, then at least relatively good Bible-knowledge, and a lot of diligence (reckoned not computer and programming knowledge now).

 

With pictures I had to do already something also earlier. I drew and painted, in the end, still in Germany, also oil paintings. Later, also I loved beautiful background images in my computer-times. I sought as well as in the internet after, as also, I myself did which. However, we have not yet bought our first digital camera for this purpose. It is a 4Mp Kodak camera, in its category actually very good. We had started with it in the beginning of 2008 this project, however, noticed with the time that this quality will not be sufficient. We were not capable however unfortunately to immediately acquire an also only halfway professional photo-equipment. However, we want to develop strongly also in this area, and we strive for real quality. Images of others we think not to use, so that the copyright relations remain unambiguous. Beautiful sceneries find themselves still everywhere. There one must move at least a little bit also in the nature, and sit not always at home at the desk.

 

What concerns the Bible, beside some Bible-knowledge one needs of course also good Bible programs. It is not shortage of it with me either.

 

With a lot of diligence, one can really create something, which is worth the effort.

Some decades ago Bible still often had to be smuggled into countries, in which they were prohibited, with not low expenditure and risk. As well as it the Dutchman brother Andrew, the founder of Open Doors, had done. In the eighties, as I still lived in Germany, also I supported their valuable service for many years. Until they had closed their office there, and also I soon from there had moved away. Now one has the possibility to reach all nations by the Internet, and one can enable to the inhabitants of the different countries everywhere much easier, than up to now, the free and easy access to this source of the life. And on solutions and answers to vital questions, as well as, otherwise, on good messages is waited everywhere.

 

It has inspired to us this new job with the Bible wallpapers very much and has pushed something the Bible text research project in the background. At the moment, we primarily want to concentrate on this project, but at opportunity the original work also continue.

 

I think, in spite of all crises the worldwide Christendom still has the potential to cofinance such activities if the good will exists to it. The individual needs to add only breadcrumbs, but at least so much already. Otherwise we fall by the wayside. It depends on us all, which happen in the world, God acts to a crucial extent through us. Jesus has been given all power in heaven and on earth (Matthew 28:18), however, that can become visible only through the loyal service of his farmhands.
